International GSM SIM Card

A lifelong phone number with no annual fees and no contract!! You pay only for calls you make. Calls are charged per minute (depending on where you are and what country you're calling) but no monthly fees or usage minimums!! When you don't use the phone, you don't pay a cent!

The service seems too good to be true? Well we can assure you that it is really that good. Highly recommended for international travelers. It can be used in 140 foreign countries as far flung as Russia, New Zealand and Iraq! Most people would prefer cell phones instead of phone cards, as they can be used to call whenever, wherever, regardless of the country you're in. Its a hassle to buy and use phone cards, figure out the pay phones and get an operator that I can communicate with.

The GSM SIM card

GSM phones require a small electronics chip, called a SIM card, to be inserted in to a slot in the handset. The SIM card is the heart of your phone-it contains your mobile phone number, your phone book, and all of your registration information. Your GSM card provides you with over 320 GSM networks in over 140 countries!

Your GSM Handset

All current GSM handsets are compatible with the GSM SIM CARD. However, you should check with your provider that there are no SIM card restriction locks in place. Also, you must check that your GSM handset is of the correct frequency for each of the countries you intend to visit. Most of the world's GSM networks operate at 900MHz and 1800MHz. However, in order to use the networks in the USA and Canada you will need a handset that is also capable of operating at the 1900MHz frequency.

How to insert your GSM SIM card into your GSM handset

Carefully remove the small "chip" from the plastic card. the method of fitting the SIM card into your GSM handset varies with each manufacturer. it is usually a simple process of inserting the card into the back of your phone, often under the battery. Please refer to your handset's user guide for details.

How to make calls

One of the benefits of GSM is the simplicity of making calls. whatever country you are in, and whichever network you are using always make your calls in the same way, following standard dialing procedures.

Country Codes

You will need to know the country code of the country of the country you wish to call. For your convenience, you will find a list of country codes on the back of the enclosed "Welcome to the World" card.

Call Charges

You will be charged for the calls that you make and receive according to our current call charger rate sheet. This is occasionally updated with new networks and price changes. you are advised to check the latest online version  before you travel.

Incoming Call Charges

GSM networks charge for calls that you receive. Calls received while in the UK, however, are free of charge.

"Toll Free" Charges

In common with most cellular services, calls to "toll free" numbers are charged for.

Call Charge increments

All calls are charged in full minutes.

Payment

Call chargers will be debited from your credit card as and when we receive the call data from the networks.

Your New Phone Number

Our GSM SIM is registered in the UK. it always has a UK phone number, irrespective of the country you travel to. The UK's country code is 44, therefore it is essential to give this country code when giving your new new number to your friends or colleagues outside the UK. Because your number is always the same, callers do not even need to know which country you are in when they call you. Callers will be charged by their phone providers at their UK mobile rate.

Emergency services 112

This number will contact fire, Police or Ambulance from any GSM network worldwide.
