Whats the Difference between USB Data
Cable Kit and Multi Connect Serial Data Port Cable???
The Major difference is the
way both cables connect to your PC or Laptop. USB Data Cable uses your
computers USB Connector to connect to your Phone whereas the Serial Data
Cable uses the RS232, also called the 9 Pin Port / Serial Port, to connect
to your Computer/Laptop. USB cable creates a faster connection with the
Computer but than, not all computers have the USB Port. If you running
older versions of windows, we recommend you to stick with the Serial Data
Cable with the software. If you are running the newer windows version and
your PC has a USB Port, than we recommend the USB DataCable with Software.
Getting the software package is a must if you are looking into easy installation
and set up. Plus the TrueSync Software allows you to synchronize your Phone
book with MS Outlook and also provide many useful functionalities.
