Nokia 6210 Navigator, a device that has
been designed to replace the 6110 Navigator released last year. As its name
implies, the flagship feature is the integrated AGPS with Maps 2.0 and built-in
geotagging. Other features include quad-band GSM, dual-band HSDPA, Bluetooth,
3.2 megapixel cam, secondardy VGA cam, 120MB internal memory, and microSDHC
expansion.
The Nokia 6210 Navigator is the company's first
phone to incorporate GPS with an integrated compass, allowing for a much more
advanced navigation service for pedestrian use. Bundled with the newly announced
Nokia Maps 2.0, the phone utilises an accelerometer (yes, made popular by that
other phone) which should allow for accurate guidance based on changes in the
user's orientation.
The 6210 works on 3.5G networks, and takes
advantage of that by integrating navigation with the Web to give information and
contact details about points of interest. The phone can also be used just as
easily as a sat-nav in car, with one-touch navigation and the usual features
you'd expect from a dedicated system. It also features A-GPS, and comes with a
1GB memory card pre-loaded with local maps. Additionally, multimedia isn't
forgotten, with a 3.2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, and FM radio rounding things
off.
Browsing the Internet and using instant
messaging, email and widgets is fast with the high speed 3.5G HSDPA technology
on the Nokia 6210 Navigator. The device also features a 3.2 megapixel camera,
MP3 player and stereo FM radio. The Nokia 6210 Navigator is based on S60
software, allowing users to download and use thousands of new applications in
addition to the ones already found on the device.
