To charge iPod using the Power Adapter:
- Connect the AC plug adapter to the power adapter (if necessary).
- Plug in one end of the FireWire or USB cable to the Apple iPod Power Adapter and the other end to your iPod (if your iPod came with a Dock Connector to FireWire cable or Dock Connector to USB cable, use that instead). If you have an iPod shuffle, connect it directly to the iPod USB Power Adapter.
Warning: Never plug the other end of a FireWire to FireWire cable into a computer's FireWire port.
- Plug the iPod Power Adapter into a working electrical outlet.
Note: Some computers can also use the iPod Dock Connector to FireWire and USB 2.0 Cable. |
