Do you know that iTunes is one-way? That means you can only download your music from your computer via iTunes to your iPod but not transfer music from iPod to computer?
The official reason is anti-piracy. If you can copy music from your iPod to any computer (including your friends!!)….hey….that’s piracy isn’t it? We agree with that idea but then what happens:
1. When the computer crashes and need to be recovered.
2. When we just bought a new computer to replace the current one.
3. When we have a seperate computer for work/school and one for home.
4. Using two ipods on the same computer
We will need to transfer music from iPod to computer and iTunes does not support that feature. What happens then? Well, apparently many software developers agree that this is a problem and have come up with ingenious solutions that take care of the problem.
