What does the web look like from a H/PC or PDA?
It depends on what product you're looking at.
Most H/PCs utilize a scaled down web browser (or a microbrowser). The two types of microbrowsers are Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer (available with Windows CE) and Symbian Web (available with EPOC).
In addition, Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer is now available on their Pocket PCs. This is a huge advantage over the Palm PDA, which does not utilize a microbrowser. Palm OS-based PDAs rely on Internet accessibility through web clipping. Currently, the Palm VII is the only Palm device with internal connectivity --Palm has announced that they will eventually make modems available for all of their devices.
