What is a wireless network?
A wireless network transmits data between networks, or network computers, through radio waves rather than a data cable. A Wireless Broadband Router or Access Point transmits a signal to your wireless-compatible notebook or desktop computer. This can provide users access to a network from inside your office or from a remote location. Wireless networks offer cost-effective flexibility, allowing employees to move their computers around the office, work from home or access the network from the road.
