Handheld PCs (H/PCs) are small, slim and lightweight portable computers. They look similar to a laptop computer. H/PCs come in a variety of forms and sizes with different displays, peripherals and packaged software configurations. They are uniformly small, lightweight, and easy to carry in your hand.
Currently, the two main operating systems (OSs) that are found in H/PCs are Windows CE and EPOC. Needless to say, there's a battle between the two manufactures of these companies (Microsoft and Symbian) over which software will lead H/PCs into the wireless internet age.
